A lot has happened since I last posted in 2019. I’m now a SAHM of the sweetest 3 year old. My days are full of (multiple) snack times, play dates, collecting beetles, looking at buds from the blooming trees through a magnifying glass, hiking, exploring, and running along side as my athletic and adventurous toddler flies down the hill for the 17th time on her lime green balance bike. It’s less checking emails, networking groups and seeing clients. What hasn’t changed is my passion for natural health, whole hearted living, healing, journeying towards a thriving life, traveling. Yes, they’ve evolved and between becoming a mom and beginning that journey in a pandemic, it’s only expanded, expounded and grown stronger.
I didn’t plan on being a stay at home mom, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also haven’t given up on my big dreams and visions. I’ve had 3 years of stepping back from it and a whole lot of time for it to continue brewing in my heart and mind. I’ve learned (and continue to) a lot. I’m grateful what I envisioned and have faulted myself for not progressing further before having my daughter hasn’t come to fruition. Because it needs to intertwine to what I’ve become and have learned from being a mom.
I still don’t know exactly what that’s going to look like. But this blog is a step in sharing my heart, honoring and allowing those passions to shine a bit beyond just in my mind. My desire is to encourage, empower, to ignite that intuition and wisdom in all of us.
I’ll likely share perspectives and ways of doing things that differ from what you’re used to, that may even challenge something in the reader.
I’m never suggesting anyone needs to be like me, do things the way I do, think the way I think. Through this blog, I’m going to share my real, raw thoughts I feel are worth sharing. My mind is full of thoughts through observation of the world we’re raising our daughter in, the way we chose to do what we do and the way we live our lives. You can expect to see anything from thoughts on intentional parenting, doing the work of healing, natural health, how we support our daughter’s health, our travels and everything in between.
It’s not for everyone, and that’s ok. But if you stick around I truly hope you feel empowered, encouraged, inspired a little challenged each time. Thank you for being here, I’m truly grateful you’ve chosen to spend a little time here with me.
